the simple way is to use a myspace editor that allows you to use a picture from another website as your background then it will give you a code and you just paste that in your "about me" section....
From "Home" goto "Edit Profile" and in the "About Me" box at the top add

Replace 'theimage' with the filename from somewhere like photobucket. Also, 'background-repeat' may be set to 'repeat' for a tiling effect.
