My computer won't let me have a background! HELP!!?

It only lets me have a color, it won't even let me scroll through the different backgrounds. When I right click a picture and do it, it still won't let me.

on the desktop, right click.

select properties

desktop

scroll thru the options, try selecting one of the existing ones

click on appply, then ok

now u shud have it there.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE REGISTRY EDITOR!

You can really screw up your system if you accidentally delete a whole section of it.

Click the Windows Start button

Click Run

Type: regedit

Navigate to the following registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ System

"Wallpaper"=SZ:C:\WINDOWS\desktop.html

(yours might be slightly different)

Click one time on the entry

Push Delete on the keyboard

Click Yes

Close the Registry editor
