How can I set one of the pictures as a background on a powerpoint presentation and be able to type o

Well I need to put some pictures as backgrounds on my powerpoint presentation but they cover all of the letters that I need. I need to know how I can set the picture as the background only and not just as a picture ON the slide. HELP!!!

With your mouse over the picture, right click and select "Format Picture." Then click the "Layout" file and select "Behind Text."

Place it on the slide master.



Alternatively place it in a text box then right-click on the border of the text box and move it behind your actual text.

I think it would work if you put the picture in first and then inserted a text box over the picture. You may have to bring the text box to the front or send the picture backwards so you can see the writing......depends on your default settings.
Right click backround



Click on slide backround



Click on fill effects



Click on picture



Select picture
when you open power point you will get the prompt about it as how to go step by step ahead
